HotSchedules opens new sales office in Sydney, Australia, officially entering the Australian market with its scheduling, labour management and communications product.

HotSchedules, a global software-as-a-service provider for the restaurant, retail and hospitality industries, announces the opening of a new sales office in Sydney, Australia, officially entering the Australian market with its scheduling, labour management and communications product.

HotSchedules, whose portfolio of products already serves more than 110,000 locations across 26 countries, has historically had a limited presence for its labour management solution in Australia. The new sales office is a clear indication of intent to rapidly expand into the Australian market.

President and CEO, Anthony Lye said, “We did our research to understand how restaurants in Australia were managing labour and were not surprised to find a proliferation of traditional, paper-based scheduling and communication methods. It is also a market that is hungry to change quickly.”

Lye went on to say, “Early feedback from Australia-based restaurant owners and operators has been incredible. They are excited to have a solution that has been proven effective over and over again in restaurants of every conceivable size in the United States now available in Australia.”

A current HotSchedules customer in the United States, Outback Steakhouse will be among the first to roll out the HotSchedules labour management solution to their Australian locations. The response has been overwhelmingly positive.
