If you are having trouble logging into HotSchedules, check one of these easy remedies:
Are you a new user? If you have have never logged in to HotSchedules before, you need to ask your manager for a Welcome Sheet with your log in information. View Sample Welcome Sheet.
Are you a returning user with an email address in your user profile? If you have logged in to HotSchedules before and set up your email address in your profile we can send your username and password. Retrieve your usernameor Retrieve your password.
Are you a returning user without an email address in your user profile? If you have logged in to HotSchedules before but did not set up your email address in your profile, you need to ask your manager for a Welcome Sheet with your log in information. View Sample Welcome Sheet.

To create a House Shift, simply create a shift for a person on the correct day. Then select the shift you just created and press the “H” key.
If you get a message that the schedule is restricted it means the schedule has been posted. If the schedule is not for the current week, you can un-post it yourself. If it is posted for the current week, call us so we can assist you.
Go to the Admin Tab, then click Training, Employee Dashboard. From there you can see each of your employees and the number of courses assigned to them. Click on the employee to review the specific courses assigned to them.
To assign courses, go to the Admin Tab, Training and Course Listings. Click on the course or courses you want to assign and you’ll the large, green “Assign” button. From there, you have two choices:
You can assign the course to each employee one by one.
Or, you can assign courses or curricula to a particular job type, so that all new hires given that job type will automatically be assigned the courses or set of course you deem necessary. To assign in this way, after you have clicked the green Assign button, select Go to Advanced, check the box for Automated Assignment Rule and then choose the jobs, region and location.
Yes! Go to My Lists, Applicant List, and then click on the applicant you want to forward. In the applicant’s profile, on the far right, there is a forwarding option. You will just need to know the recipient’s email address.
Yes. If the documents only require a signature, you can upload them by going to Settings, Onboarding Preferences and click the Add a Document button. If the document requires the employee to complete additional fields of information, call our Customer Care team for assistance so we can get them uploaded for you.
Yes. Go to the My Lists tab, then to My Job Templates. In the Job Templates list there is a Sharing option. Click on the word Private on the template you wish to share and change the template to Shared and click Submit.

The most common error is that the iPad is out of range of your WiFi and can’t connect to the Internet. Check first to see that you are in range of a WiFi system you can connect to. If you are connected and still receiving the error message, call us.
