Great people making great sandwiches just got a whole lot easier for Subway Sandwich Restaurants thanks to Clarifi Talent Development an e-learning platform designed for the restaurant and hospitality industries.

The University of Subway was successfully rolled out to 540,000 users in 110 countries at the Subway brand’s 44,000+ locations. The online training program will contain on-demand content, exams, lectures and other restaurant training courses that users can access from a computer or from a tablet device – keeping Subway’s training (like their sandwiches) fresh and accessible.

“In order for franchisees and company employees to ensure they are always providing exceptional services to their customers, proper training is critical,” said Trevor Haynes, VP of Operations at Subway Sandwich Restaurants in a press release. “Schoox allows training to be instant and more effective.”

The learning management system was rolled out in 30 days, a record-breaking global implementation of a learning management system for one the world’s largest franchise companies.

“In order for franchisees and company employees to ensure they are always providing exceptional services to their customers, proper training is critical. Schoox allows training to be instant and more effective.”

Trevor Haynes, VP of Operations at Subway Sandwich Restaurants

“Implementation in the Learning Management System (LMS) industry tends to be the most painful part for our clients. We purposely made it easy for our customers by strategically designing our user experiences and our product capabilities to serve complex organizations like Subway,” said Lefteris Ntouanoglou, CEO of Schoox.

In the press release, Ntouanoglou acknowledged that a rollout of this size is possible for any type of corporation.

He attributed the success of the massive global launch to the “tremendous coordination and team effort between Subway’s Technology Training and Operations teams as well as Schoox’s Support Team.”
