All it takes is one spark to ignite something big — and that’s exactly why leaders and innovators from across the restaurant industry joined HotSchedules in Dallas, TX, from October 23-25 for the 2017 Spark Conference to share how they are thriving in today’s operating environment and to help each other prepare for the road ahead.
Nearly 200 attendees from 70 brands and a combined 37,000 locations made the trip to Dallas’ historic Adolphus Hotel for a fantastic two days that would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors. Throughout the event, our sponsors provided their expertise and invaluable insights into masterminding the restaurant industry’s chaotic environment.
Between keynotes from New York Times bestselling author and innovator Jeremy Gutsche and visionary restaurateur Sam Fox, conference-goers learned how they can run better, faster, and more successful operations amid increased complexity and a highly competitive operating climate. A panel of CIOs from Shake Shack, Logan’s Roadhouse, Sonny’s BBQ and Stacked discussed the challenges many restaurant operators are facing and what kinds of solutions can help them.
And, as the pièce de résistance, HotSchedules unveiled Clarifi, our revolutionary intelligent restaurant operating platform.
We Unveiled Clarifi… so What’s Clarifi?
Great question! Clarifi is the first cloud-based intelligent restaurant operating platform specifically designed to help restaurant operators, managers, and their teams prepare and perform in the face of the unpredictable. The system comprises five modules, each designed to solve the people, product and operational challenges faced by every restaurant, every day.

And that was only the first couple of hours of the event. After the unveiling, a series of sessions with industry experts and innovators gave attendees valuable insights into the future of back-office technology and restaurant management.
Each breakout session was designed to tackle the big challenges restaurants face when it comes to their front-and-back-of-house operations through the lens of future back office technology.
