Hey iOS users, guess what? You can now submit Availability Requests from your HotSchedules iOS app. Which is pretty cool considering you’re already on your smartphone snapping #serverselfies and Tweeting about #serverlife.

Here’s the shakedown:

Availability can be found within the Settings page of the app.

(1) The following screen shows your current availability
(2) To make an adjustment, select “Edit”

You must then select a day part to configure your Availability (1). Once the Availability for that day part is configured, select “Done” (2)

Once you’re done editing your Availability, select “Done” (1) in order to submit the request to your manager. The next screen will let you “Add A Note” to your request and select the manager your want to approve your Availability.

After the request is sent to a manager, a message will appear on the Availability screen (1). To cancel a request, select “Edit” and then “Cancel Request.” (2)

Functionality to approve Availability changes must be done via the HotSchedules web app. This will eventually be added to the Manager’s functions on the mobile app. Stay tuned managers, we’ve got your back!
